I am a bloodelf hunter and have done all the quests in the starting area but have never received a quest for aquiring my first pet or getting the ability to tame. It's been a while since I played WoW so I may not remember how this works.  Is the quest not available? Or did I overlook it somehow? Maybe related to the speed of leveling?
