A lot of players want to be a GM lately.
We are looking for new people to join our staff from time to time, however I get the idea that most players applying don't have any idea what it's like to be a GM.
You should know that it's strictly forbidden for GM's to interfere with other players using their GM skills.
It is fun to fly around a bit and get some imba weapon to run some instance, this will however get boring in just a couple of minutes (believe me..) and it has nothing to do with being a GM.
Normally we ask people if they want to be a GM here, not the other way around (based on what we know about the player; monitoring his/her actions in game).
Of course we cannot keep track on all players that are currently playing on the server all the time, we also need time to fix bugs

.
That's why we made this list of requirements we think a GM should have, in order to apply.
- Wow experience; You should know what you are talking about.
- Language; Capable of writing/reading decent English.
- Reporting; Setting up detailed bug reports in a way the programmers can actually use them as a reference.
- Age; This is a major requirement; we think adults are more capable in being objective than players of a younger age.
- Play time; Of course a GM should be online regularly.
- Dedication; You should at least be familiar with our server and how we handle things around here.
- GM experience; This is preferred however not required, anyone can learn!
- Helpful; Always willing to help other players.
We are all hobbyists just having fun managing/running this server and it should stay that way.
Being a GM should be fun and not like a regular job, and we encourage people who show capability and initiative!
Lot's and lots of things can be done, it's up to you what to do!
[EDIT]For those who are
experienced using linux and who are well known with coding in c++ and or scripting in LUA, please contact me!
We are currently looking for skilled people to join our development staff!
[/EDIT]If you think you've got what it takes to be a GM and you've been running around here for some time, I'll be happy to receive your application in a PM.
