Well I'm not realy sure because private servers are different then the retail version. I believe some of the locations on this map have the ore but sense it this is a private server the spawns are kinda screwy.

But on a positive note ore respawns on this server VERY quickly and ALWAYS in the same spot so if u can find a few just mark em (if you have the cartographer add-on or some other map add-on) and mine away XD.

I never have seen so many mines in hellfire at real wow, soo how is that possible!?!?!

Well in retail wow the respawn rates of ore deposits where pretty dam long lol and with ppl farming it or mining it as they pass em by would probably be why you didn't see that much ore. (the add-on shows all the mineing spots from a included database there could possibly be more veins that where not recorded)
