what colour are the monsters and quests you are doing? If they are grey then move on to another zone. Anything green and upwards (yellow, orange and if you dare red) will give you xp

If the difference betwen your lvl and the creature's lvl is more than 6, than you get no xp. Try killing a lvl 24 creature or higher.

lol alll monesters are red !!!!!!!!!!! extept critter an neutral ones

What he means by red is the lvl. When you look at the monsters level it is color coded. Grey means no xp, green a little xp, gold is more, orange is more than gold, and red would be the most available xp per kill for your lvl. There is a little bubble to the lower right of the monster's portrait that designates it's level.

When I was leveling, I tried to stay within three or four levels (either higher or lower) of my toon's level. Mostly tried to kill orange lvl'd monsters... and stayed away from green and lower when I could Smiley There are also mods that you can get that will tell you what area is the best for leveling your character that work with wowrage.

Hope that helps.

That's not it, as far as I know. I will take you to RED creatures UNDER lvl 15 that will ALWAYS attack you and if you are 6 lvls higher than those creatures, you will get NO xp!
So, RED = the creature will attack you, NO MATTER WHAT. If you are in it's range, it will attack, regardless of your lvl. You can be even 70. Test it.

There are two different 'reds' here. The name tag being red means it will attack...it is aggressive. The level of the creature is also color coded. When you look at a creature, on the bottom right hand corner you can see the level. That was the red that i was explaining.

It is a color code, just like the quests. Basically it is supposed to determine the likeliness that you will be able to take it down. A red quest, or a red monster is more difficult, almost impossible. For those who will argue that they have done a quest or killed a monster that was red in level...notice I said almost Smiley

The higher the level of the quest or the monster, the more xp. The color code again is- grey (no xp) green(a little xp) gold(more xp) orange(more more xp) and red (most xp)

I was talking about the names, you were talking about the lvl. You are right. I was not paying attention when reading your post. Tongue
