wont let me log into wowrage but i can retail wow?

when i go to log on it says unable to validate game version this may be caused by file corruption or interference of another program please visit (some blizzard website to long to type in) for a possable solution but when u go to site there is no solution ive been playin on this server for months and this hasnt happened before so im not sure wats goin on i thought maybe somehow my computer down loaded patches from retail so i went wow folder and deleted the resent patches and still wont work ive re-checked the log on info set realmlist realm1.wowrage.nl a hundred times so its not tht i changed the i changed the wow launcher icon to wow.exe and launcher.exe so its not tht i have got a big feeling it was from the last night retail patches but i dont knnow how to fix can u help me


ill try help u out some more i have wow-2.4.1.8125-to-2.4.2.8278 down loader i think i deleted the patch i right clicked all the patches except WoW-2.3.0 enUS patch i still have the downloaders for the higher ones ? im really confused im probably not making any sense how do i down grade or upgrade maybe theres away i could delete all my patches and install all the ones i need ? do i just right click and send the patches to recycleing bin ? ok ima stop typeing now cause its turning into a novel

Your installation of WoW is likely patched up to 2.4.3, we only suppost 2.4.2 right now.

how do i down grade my patch i keep deleteing patches and tryna install 2.4.2 but it says i already have 2.4.3 but i dont know were to find the patxch to delete it ?

In there WoW folder, go into "Data", then delete patch.mpq, then go back into the WoW folder, run "Repair.exe", then run all your patches up to 2.4.2, and run WoW with the WoWRage launcher.

lol  i uninstalled wow completely to see if tht would help but now i cant even install wow at all lol must be jus my crapy comp then  so yeah if i fix the problem with the wow installer i guess ill see u guys online in a few days hopefully

SO in other words u cant play normal wow and private server together?? Im not planning on stopping on the retail so this means i cannot play on private server anymore?

We are already in the development stages of 2.4.3; phase 1 of retail-compatability (gathering). We could have it ready in a week or less, but for today- we only support 2.4.2

Many who play both official servers and private servers have 2 installations of WoW

Give that a try  ^^
