I'd like to learn programming the emulators, like Antrix, but I can't find a guide or anything like that on the web (all I found was cheats & hacks  Grin).
Can someone please suggest a source for me to learn Antrix programming from (I think it's C++, not sure tho).
I'm a fast learner, and if I manage to find / learn, I'd like to be part of the wowrage development crew, if possible ofc.

There are no specific tutorials for core development, it will only require some decent c++ skills.
Anyone who is well known with c++ can work on the core, some experience is required for that.

I think it will be best to start with script development, that can be done in c++ or lua.
Lua is a scripting language, which makes it easier to understand because (mainly) you don't have to worry about pointer/mem handling.

If you'd like to give it a try, feel free to pm me and I can help you with a platform to work on.

I was fortunate enough to work for a non profit computer company near my home.  We always got a ton of old machines, accessories, programs and books.  A few books I grabbed while I was there were about C++, Java and XML programming.  I wouldn't rule out a trip to your local book store and see if maybe there is an intro into C++ or LUA.  If I could ever get time to read anything besides work material I would love to be apart of the Dev team.

Anyways..check your book store or even something like amazon.com.   Never know what you may find.

Peace

Thanks for the advice, guys. I found a nice beginner guide on cplusplus.com --> Documentation.
It was nice but I don't know where to get a C++ console - or something to work on (I don't know where to learn & practice, actually Smiley)

Thanks again
