2 servers at the same time

I heard it was possible to play on two at the same time by patching a copy of wow.
and well this could help me since i play at random hours and sometimes no one is online so i could hop to another server.
No disrespect intended, but i have made my copy of wow, and when i patch it im afraid it will patch wow overall and not allow me to play here anymore, so any help on this matter would be great, thank you in advance.

Simply avoid running the program "launcher.exe" in your WoWRage Copy for 2.4.2, instead make sure the properties of the short cut point directly to "wow.exe"

The blizz launcher is what updates that particular installation (only in the same directory in which it was chosen, not all copies), so one easily patch up to 2.4.3 for retail or other servers running that by chosing to run launcher.exe in that copy's directory.

yea, i tried opening the default launcher and patching that way, but be playing wowrage at the same time but it didnt work lol, ill try this, hopefully im not too dumb

copy your WoW folder to an other place. For example: I have mine in G:\World of Warcraft\ and copied it to G:\Program Files\World of Warcraft
The G:\Program Files\World of Warcraft is for WoWRage, and the G:\World of Warcraft is for an other server to bring up Ideas for WoWRage

If you just edit your realmlist.wtf and connect with wow.exe everything should be fine

Does it work even if on different patches? I use 2 comps to do that but it would be sweet if I could do both on my laptop instead of having to go on my desktop.

Yep. Have one 2.4.2 wow folder, and one 2.4.3 wow folder

yup its possible, if you have 2 different wow folders on your comp, pach one wow up to 2.4.3 and let the other one be 2.4.2 for wowrage
