[INFO] Connecting to WOWRage

Tutorial on how to connect to our server:
We have 2 options of installation, by far the easiest is to download and use our WRLauncher application.
You will be able to connect to both WoWRage.nl's server and the original Blizzard server and you don't have to worry about your cache ever again, since it will be cleared automatically!

Installation using WRLauncher:

Make sure you got wow 2.4.2 with the burning crusade expansion installed (All required downloads can be found here)
Register an account on our server by clicking here
Download WRLauncher (Download as RAR here)
Run WRLauncher.exe and connect to WoWRage.nl using the account data entered in step 2

WRLauncer requires Microsoft's .NET2 installed, you can download it here.
Please read this topic i you are using Windows Vista.

Manual installation (if you do not wish to use the WRlauncher):

Make sure you have wow 2.4.2 with the burning crusade expansion installed (downloads)
Register an account on our server by clicking here
Go to the Wow folder on your computer (By default you should go to My Computer > C:/ > Program Files > World of Warcraft)
Once you get into that folder you should see a file called Realmlist.wtf. Right click on that icon and choose Open > Notepad.
Erase everything in this file
Paste the following code in this file

set realmlist realm1.wowrage.nl

Save the file (make sure your WoW is not running!)
In your World of Warcraft folder you see a folder named Cache, delete this folder
Run WOW by executing wow.exe and login with the account data entered in step 2

If you have any problems connecting to the server please create a topic in this forum and we will try to help you as soon as possible.
For in-game related problems you should use our Ticket system

Things to keep in mind when not using the WRLauncher:
We advise you to play using wow.exe and not launcher.exe (which is the normal startup application) because launcher will install updates from blizzard. We try our best to keep our server compatible with the latest patch but it usually takes some time for us to update our server to the newest blizzard client update.
A topic in the news forum will keep you up-to-date about what client version we are supporting.

You should empty the Cache folder from time to time to make sure your client will see possible new updates on our server.
For the players who play retail with the same client as they do on our server, we recommend to empty this folder on every server switch.
Keep track of the announcement forum to see if there are any server upgrades.
