magda1ena , I'm not sure what you see when you look at the Lfg chat channel, I'm GM Cornelius, A typical time for me when I logged in was GM Totems or GM Help or things of that sort. I dont know what you see since we all percieve things differently.

I know that what triggs does is wise and has a impact on WoWrage. Although cant we find a better response? Triggs truely cares about you and everyone else. Although the tolerance level is -0, It's not to discourage you or others. It's there to protect you and others. When you're in lead you're just a better follower than others, that's all. So if you dont mind. Help us Help you. We'll do our best we promise Smiley

Not being able to interact with the rest of the server just makes me dislike it that much more. The gm's are great, the other players are usually intelligent, and the bugs aren't that bad, but now I don't even get to talk to the other players?

I have a job, and a life, and to me level 50 is a long way away. I have one level 70 Character on this server and one level 34. My idea of fun is taking my time and getting to know my characters, putting effort into skills and talents, not getting to level 50 in a day. and yeah, i don't have a full 24 hours to devote to playing. So I'm supposed to just hang out by myself for a few weeks because I don't level fast enough? Thanks.

Making the looking for group chat 50+ just makes me feel like I'm being discriminated against. Not trying to be whiny. Just honest.   I hate it.

Yes, I have.
I asked on multiple channels if anybody wanted Iron Buckles. There was no response.   I've asked about other things, No Response.

I work outside the home, I come home and work inside the home. I then sit down to relax after dealing with frustrating things.

I'm filing bug reports, Ash has been real nice about doing what he can (which hasn't been much).

But .. yeh ...
If it's gonna take me weeks to get to a level where I'm "allowed" to chitchat, and the guild I play is bugged ....

Well that really stinks, You have a lvl.70 and you can't use the LFG on your other characters. One good suggestion which i'm surprised you didn't suggest it first would be.

Triggs, is it possible to set the lfg up to where it interacts with the entire account. That way if there's a lvl.50 or 50+ character on the account maybe any character on that account could use lfg? I dont know if this is possible but it sounds reasonable to me.

Honestly the lfg should be a little more open and optimistic, although GM help and GM Help and GM help does get a little frustrating.

Are there any alternatives or standards that are a little more leniant on the players?

I know you two aren't too happy. I understand your frustration. Help us help you. Make some suggestions because ultimately triggs is here for you as well. As a part of staff i want you to know we appreciate your input and do care about you Smiley

Yes I have. I even started my own channel and tried to get under 50 players to join. Unfortunately, seeing as how the majority of players have already reached level 70, and not everyone is on at the same time, it's kind of hard to organize. And am I a gm? No. I don't have the ability to just tell everyone "hey if your under level 50 go to this channel". Maybe someone who is a gm might want to do something like that?

Or better yet, why not just disband this silly 50+ rule.

Again, not trying to be a grumpy guss. Just feeling discriminated against. (and by the way, not a good way to make your players feel)

Here's an option.

Let those who receive the LFG channel opt to filter it.  They can see level 5+, or they can choose to see level 50+.  Not everybody objects to talking to clueless n00bs.  Let them continue to talk, while those who get annoyed have it filtered out.

Just a thought.

It's not only the regular people that play. GM'S are alittle different. They can't use the filters and put peopel on ignore. They either put the gm tag on or take it away to allow whipsers. If people are going to abuse the right then take it away. Everyone has been warned over and over and people Ignore it and keep on doing it. Hell you guys are even lucky triggs even put it back in. Stop abusing stuff and stuff like this will not happen or be a problem.

I see there are a lot of people angry about the chat but is there really that many people online to talk to? I dont understand what people would chat about. I just started playing wow and i see how the many questions i have could piss off a lot of people cuz i would definately use the chat to ask some questions about  quests or whatnot.  So its really a good thing, cuz the people mostly who are on are mainly 5 or 6 lvl 60+ characters so why would i need to talk, or "bother" them right?  I just look for someone near the same level as me to go on quests and it works fine figure stuff out on your own is half the fun.  Just gotta look for the friendly people =).

of course i dont mind helpin and low lvl horde's out there, look me up

If you ask me the chat is for GMs to decide, it's mostly them who have to deal with what comes out of it, I'm pleased they've brought us an LFG channel like before though, I missed being able to talk to people all the time.
