Hi all,

I'm new to this server, so i thought i'd give my 2 cents.  I did that already in a prior (possibly newer) post, but basically it's so quiet that sometimes i do a /who just to make sure there are actually other horde on the server!  last time there was 14 horde and 4 or 5 were 60-70.
As far as the channel solution, I must say that the lack of chuck norris/yo'momma jokes is refreshing, but i was wondering if there might possibly be a way for the "lowbie" non-noobs to apply for world channel rights?
I realize this might involve more trouble than it's worth but i'm not sure if the GMs realize what lowbies are going through right now.  I'm no noob, but i'm new to the server.
someone on a prior reply said that they were disappointed that there are complaints but no solutions so here are a few thoughts - again, i'm not sure what is involved so you will have to decide the viability on your end... hope that's ok...

1.) have an auto-join channel for lowbies
2.) Have a world channel that must be manually joined (this stops the noobs/spammers that are too lazy to read the forums from joining the channel)
3.) Have a general spam channel!  Spam is out there, we can't fight it. If we give the A.D.H.D. kids an outlet it may not be such a bad thing.. Remember: you can always leave a channel if you don't like what you're reading (type /leave #). You may even be able to call it "Generalspamchat" If you're trying to hold a conversation (imho) it is usually better to hold a real conversation in whisper or party chat (if situation allows) anyway.
Just ideas... I don't like being negative but it's not very encouraging that I have to be lvl 50+ just to talk to someone....

Thank you for your reply..!

As for now I'll go with your idea and invite everyone to join the world channel "WorldChat".
For those who do not like getting spammed can leave this channel and stay with LFG (will remain lvl50+)

Let's see how this turns out...

Thank You, Triggs. We'll see how it goes. I'll mention this to new players inquiring about world chat, and MOTD it in guild.
