Error retrieving character list

My daughter was playing on my account and decided she would make 2 new characters. There are now a total of 11.  When I try to login I get the "error retrieving character list" so I can't login in too delete them. Anybody have any suggestions? Is this something that can be fixed server side?

I looked in my character folder and did not see them so I caould delete them.

Deleted the 2 lvl 1 chars, you should be able to login again..
