I am unable to download the normal client WOW (2.0.0) via piratebay torrent as there are no seeds while the other 2 links provided are not working currently... Is there another way to get this???

Just making sure I understand the instructions correctly:

I already have a hard copy of USen World of Worldcraft, unpatched and installed.

I have downloaded and am currently installing Burning Crusades.

I still require the patches up to 2.4.2, correct? I was confused because some people have posted not to download any patches past 2.0.0

Yes, you still need 2.4.2 patch.

yeah you need to patch up to 2.4.2 for the moment and change your realmlist.wtf to realm1.wowrage.nl

Thank you very much gentlemen. But I have a new problem, WoWBC now tells me its unable to validate my game version. At the moment I do not have the current up to date patch, and I was wondering if this is a CDkey issue or a patching issue. (I was just checking to see if WoWBC would run and to see if I could connect to the server)

Be sure that you have patch 2.4.2!

realmlist.wtf, correct? I have updated that with the following line:

set realmlist realm1.wowrage.nl

That is the only line of text in realmlist.wtf.

- Check your patch. Be sure that it is 2.4.2
- Check your realmlist. set realmlist realm1.wowrage.nl
- Double click on wow.exe

DO NOT CLICK ON LAUNCH.EXE

I'm still downloading the patch... Unfortunately the mirror provided seems to cap out at about 20 kbs... I looked for another site to d/l the patch from.

Great, thanks. Too bad there's no 2.x.x.-2.4.2 direct patch, I'm assuming I have to download each patch individually?

just use the patchs links from soulhunt's link
